Meet Susan, named after my late aunt on my mother’s side. Inspired by the periwinkle colored chicory flower, known for its wild nature and edible leaves. The flower is also known for overcoming adversity and blooming along roadsides. My aunt Susan, was a dancer, author, lawyer and firefighter, nothing could put her in a box. She was an incredible role model and inspiration.
